Miami-born Carl Jasper is a chef in Brentwood, California. Restaurant owner Riva wants Carl to continue cooking the boring “classic dishes” rather than innovative dishes. Carl is in a tight relationship with the adolescent science and technology son Posey and his wealthy ex-wife.
When Carl had the opportunity to come forward to the famous critics and blogger Ramsey Michel to show his creative talent, Riva asked him to cook according to the original menu. Carl had to give in and the results were negatively evaluated. After working hard, Carl’s creative meals are approved by the public. As being famous, the well-known critic Michel comes to Carl’s dining car again. This time, he praises Carl’s dishes strongly, and that makes Carl knows how important creativity is!
