In my former blog, which talks about the musical romantic film, Begin Again, I said that this kind of movie is my favorite. Recently, there’s another musical romantic movie again! The name of the movie is A Star Is Born. As the movie was published, I went to the theater and watched it immediately! To my expectation, the movie is amazing! Especially for the MUSIC part! There’s another factor that attracts a ton of audience— that is, the main actress is the popular singer LADY GAGA!
The story focuses on two things. One is the relationship between Ally, who is performed by Lady Gaga, and Jack, who is performed by Bradley Cooper. The other thing is their musical career. In the movie, Ally has been just a waitress and a part-time singer at a bar until she meets Jack, who is already a popular rock singer. After listening to Ally’s singing voice, Jack seems to be interesting in her and starts to guide her to her singing career. Later, Jack invites Ally to his concert and sings with him on the stage.
It was Ally’s first time to sing in front of so many people, which makes she feel afraid at first. To her surprise, it’s easy for her to show herself on the stage with Jack, and they had a wonderful concert that night. Since then Ally has been accompanied with Jack around America to hold concerts. Gradually, Ally’s voice is being noticed by more and more people and that causes Ally to sign a contract with a record company. At the end of the movie, Ally becomes a true star and a popular singer, but she also pays a price to it. As for the thing that she paid, it must be discovered by you guys!
The movie is quite successful since the main actress is a well-known star, Lady Gaga. I, however, didn’t come to see this movie because of her performance. The reason why I saw and recommended this movie is that it’s a lifestyle musical film. If you enjoy the musical film, you should see the movie and find out what happened in the end!
