If you are big basketball fans, then you should watch the movie “Thunderstruck”! The main character is the well-known NBA basketball player—Kevin Durant, who is now a member of Golden-State Warriors team. Kevin Durant has a ton of fans; however, most of them may not realize that Kevin Durant is not only a successful basketball player but an actor! What’s more, Kevin Durant acted in the movie when he was only 22 years old. Anyway, let’s see how Kevin Durant showed his capabilities in the movie!

The setting of “Thunderstruck” is in Oklahoma. A 16 years old boy named Brian loves basketball, but he isn’t really good at it. Brian is one of the fans of Kevin Durant. One day, he goes to an NBA game at night. As usual, Kevin Durant plays well and gets 20 points in the first two corners. When it comes to halftime, there is always some entertaining activities, such as inviting people to go to the court and shoot at the centre line. Brian was the lucky guy. However, he misses his shot and hit the person who wears customs. After the game, Brian gets a chance to get close to Durant. When he is asking Durant for his sign, a miracle happened. Bryan’s basketball skills exchange with Kevin Durant magically! Since then, Brian has been in the school basketball team and he is famous for his “Durant” skill. On the other side, Durant loses his skills and becomes weak. Brian enjoys his magic power for a while, but at last, he still gives the power back to Durant and plays in the final game in the senior high final. Brian won the game through his real ability, then he makes friends with Durant in the end.

I like this movie a lot because it combines two elements, comedy and basketball, which are my favorite leisure activities. It has many funny points, like when Brian climbed on a tree, tried to dunk before he gets Durant’s power, he failed then hit the ground with his head. While laughing during the movie time, I also realized that there’s no gain if no pain. No such good luck will always happen. So what we should do is to be like Brian, try our best to work out the problems. Anyway, I have to emphasize again: If you love basketball, then you shouldn’t miss this movie!
